Today's topic is called 'Investing'.

I was wondering what principles the internet world uses to invest?

For me, I do not invest blindly. I am a 'professional' and I need to know what I am investing in.

Like for example, If I were investing in a mate's business, I need to know what I am investing in.

Fair enough and it is professional.

Anyway I do not know about the rest of the world but I try to be professional in everything I do.

Directors of major corporations being sued for incompetence

Hi guys !!!

I do not know about you but this financial crisis has really hit me. In my golden years saving's plan, I had lost a considerable sum of money without doing anything. I am still allright but only just. It may require me to change my strategy but I think everybody will get there in the end.

So if I incur other losses that is not my fault what do I do? Is there a legal way of me getting my money back (Ha Ha) Do I sue the directors and lose more money and end up in the street?

What I want to know from you fellow bloggers, what are my legal avenues to recover my money (?) and make sure the directors learn from their mistakes and make sure these things never happen again. Learning from one's mistakes is very hard and it hurts in the gut.

Anyway I will try to be more cheerful in my posts and I hope things will get better.

Murder !!!!!!!!!

A new thought.

Why don't we make murder legal?

Here is my argument.

In the animal kingdom, we can state the fact, and lets be frank, that murder is legal.

In the human race, murdering another person is currently illegal. It should be not.

Let me say why I think this way.

We all know in the human world, everything is competitive and fierce to reach the top in every field of endeavour. We use, instead of a gun or whatever, psychological warfare to reach the top and be a blood sucker (parasite, user of people to reach the top).
This in many cases has caused irrecovable damage to the person's mind and life. Including my own.

I argue, for the people that have had their minds destroyed, to make murder replace psychological warfare. A true survival of the fittest.

Just a thought.

Fast money vs Skills ?

In today's funny economic times, are young people turning to Fast money instead of acquiring new skills ?

I believe, this is only my opinion, that the younger generation reject the idea of working hard to acquire new skills to get decent jobs or they believe that Fast money offer them "job" satisfaction.

For me, Fast money and acquiring new skills can work hand in hand. You earn the money (legally, ethically ) and then acquire the skills that you want. Thats what I believe.

Terry Prattchett a scientist ?

A thought occurred to me the other day.

What if someone, or Mr. Prattchett himself, wrote a book based on a scientific fantasy?

That is, a book based on science fiction and fantasy?

I do not know if this has been done before but it would be a good read.

3 Minute Fri(e)d egg

Hi Guys !!!

Tonight's topic is about frying an egg. Normally it takes about 3 minutes to fry an egg. But one day someone will discover a way to fry an egg for about 10 minutes and still be edible. That suits me fine. I like to do everything in 10 minutes or longer.

I love eggs. I have eggs about twice a week and I feel good!!!!! It makes me want to take on the world!

Anyway enough about my ranting on eggs. I invite comments from the internet world about eggs.

We had such good times that I will, and I hope you will never forget. We went places and saw things that other people will dream of seeing in their lifetimes. I had such a lovely time.

The Parrot wants to become a writer ala Terry Pratchett.

Hi guys !!!

Todays topic is about the Parrot in my life. Yes folks he is back and tormenting me. But do not worry, I have found why he is tormenting me. He wants to become a writer. More to the point, he wants to become an author of the ilk of Terry Pratchett. That makes no sense in tormenting me because I cannot give what he wants. If he continues to torment me, firstly he will never get what he wants and secondly, I will report him to the appropriate authorities.

You people may say that it is all in my imagination and I am a crackpot, but I will find the right evidence and take the Parrot squawking and screeching to the appropriate court.

Anyway, I would have done my best in helping him to become an author of the Terry Pratchett ilk. But he has been tormenting me for a long time and I will never help him to achieve his goals.
He, the Parrot, should find somebody else to become an author.

Anyway, I have to find employment.

Hi guys !!!

How are you going? I am going fine. I am still unemployed but my health is improving. By the way, on saturday night I held a party for my so called friends. Friends that I do not trust.
Thats beside the point.

At the party, the parrot was in fine form. He was drinking his glass of wine with his mate Randall. He, yes he is male, was boasting to his mates and me about everything. What a crock.

He is on the skids !!!!! Does not feel any guilt. He just shoots from the hip. He has no respect for other people other than his own ego. He wants to be a writer but the way he is going about it by repeating everything a person who has a talent for writng. It causes depression and sickness to the person who has the talent for writing. One day he will get it.

The other people in his circle look on in amazement and in bemusement at what he is doing to the person with the talent. If he wants to be a writer, he must ask permission from the person with the talent and that goes for anybody who wants to be anything.

I hope he reads this post and modifies his behaviour before something happens to him

Long term unemployment continues !!!!!!!

Hi guys!!!

My situation is gettting worse. It has been 1 and a half years since I have been on centrelink benefits. This is likely to continue in the foreseable future with no end in sight. I am getting very worried. I have not been able to find steady work and a good income. Worse still my parents, especially my dad, is getting on my nerves in taking a pension at 55. Even the parrot is suggesting I take a pension at 55! If I do take a pension at 55, I will find other work.

I dont you what you people think but I like to work till I cannot work anymore.

My trip!!!!

Hi guys!!!

I have just returned from my trip to Canberra, the Great Ocean road and Kangaroo Island. It was a fantastic trip. I met a group of nice people from overseas and had a lovely time. There was this person called Henry. A lovely, quiet man and he spoke when he was spoken to.

On the trip, I saw the 12 (?) Apostles and other fantastic scenery. If you have the money and the time, come and see the great sights of Australia.

Anyway its time to go and watch the cricket and relax a bit.

Its me again !

On a very hot day in Adelaide, I watched the cricket on my digital TV. The picture was crisp and crystal clear. Shall I mention the brand?

During the day, I went to the gym and did my exercises and then I came home to watch the cricket's conclusion.

At the moment, I am listening to the " Could have been champions" on radio national (ABC) here in Australia. The topic is on sport and its culture.

On a sad note, it is with regret that we all bloggers and writers note the passing of Norman Mailer, the conscious of the American nation.

Digital TV

Hi fellow bloggers !

Today I bought a digital TV. The previous TV, which I had for twenty years, finally screened its last bit of colourful radiation. I am excited about this event in my life because I finally made it to the digital age. All I need now, maybe, is a mobile phone for emergencies only.

Anyway, besides the above, I am still applying for jobs and I am doing a course by correspondence. The course is Cert 4 in training and assessment. Hopefully the course will open more doors for me in the chase for part-time or full time work.

I hope you bloggers out there are having a wonderful time and good luck in all your endeavours.

End of year !!!!!

Hi bloggers !!!!

Well its that time again. The end of year is upon us. The football finals are done and dusted. The preparations for the end of festivities are ongoing and the wrapping of presents is almost finished.

For me, it has been a better year than the last (2006). We all know that I lost my job and had two car accidents. But I have since bought a car and hopefully it will last me a long time.

For this year, I have been working as a volunteer, part-time, at the Hillcrest Community centre here in Adelaide, South Australia. My goal for next year is to try and get a paid job in the IT field or as a tutor in some teaching institution (private or public).

Well that is all for now.

Hi Bloggers !

Today's topic is " Keeping on going". This period of unemployment has sharply focussed my mind on how to progress in my life. I have decided, if anybody cares, to do a few (2) courses that will hopefully see me out to the day I die. The names of these courses do not matter but I feel relaxed about the choices that I have made. If not I will do what is necessary to get through my life. I live to work. In addition, I will take a holiday each year, just to balance my life.

In the case of marriage, I would like to get married but I realise that " it happens". There is a girl at the gym I like but due to my unemployment and low confidence at the moment, I cannot go for her ( being careful not to harrass her).

Anyway enough of me, to everybody, enjoy life!

Last night I celebrated one of my mates 40th birthday party at a local haunt. Again the parrot was/is causing concern to me. I know, I know that I should not let it get to me but I must win this battle. I think that he has got it in for me. I do not know why. If he wants to be the leader of our group then so be it. If one of my first mate wants to be the technology leader, so be it. If my other mate wants to be the business leader, so be it. I just want to make my way in the world, under the laws of the land and no questions asked.

Buying useless things

Hi de ho bloggers!!!!!

Today's topic is "buying useless things". I have a mate, who shall remain nameless, buys useless things. For example, the other day he bought a $200 dollar toy helicopter. A grown man, I say that loosely, should not be playing with toy helicopters but should be married with, maybe, with a couple of kids and have a position with some responsibility. He still lives at home with his parents and I doubt that he will ever leave home.

I have another friend, again shall remain nameless, buys videos and DVDs,watches foxtel and is a hardcore and I mean a hardcore Port Power supporter. Maybe too hardcore !!!. Again this mate of mine needs some responsibility. Maybe he should be married with some responsibility? Maybe we all should be married with some responsibility !

My day Sunday was devoted to delivering herbalife flyers to my area. It took me only about half an hour to deliver them. I guess you people out their already know about the herbalife business opportunity so I will not bore you with their ideas and marketing plan ( http://tudsyatfortune.atffortune.com).

The federal election is looming large and I am undecided at this point in time. But I think I will vote independant again and the labour party in Australia for the senate ticket.

Last night, my friends and I watched the match between the Port Adelaide Power and the Adelaide crows. The parrot was there also but it (he) was on his best behaviour. I hope it continues. I feel good.

Anyway, life goes on.

An interview

Hi bloggers !!!!!

At last I cracked it. I have got an interview on Monday the 9th at 10:30 am (Adelaide time). The position is a C and Vb programmer. I have to go into the city and be very confident about myself.

Anyway lets talk about something else. The hot topic is the live earth bands that are playing at the moment. I think it is a good idea that these artists are lending their support behind the push for the political leaders to come up with practical solutions to climate change.

We all can play a part and I will play my part too.

In my backyard, I have a few trees which help in the sucking up of the CO2 in the atmosphere and I have to calculate how much CO2 emissions that my household emits. Stay tuned.

Pole Dancing

In the city of churches, the current hot topic of debate is Pole dancing. My humble opinion is that our standards , our advertising standards are coming down. While sex has been around since human beings and we know that sex sells, I am appalled that this ad has been aired. I am not a wowser but I am thinking of the children who see it during prime time. Not too mention the effect on impressionable teenagers who might choose pole dancing as an extra curricular activity. Who knows where it might lead the teenagers to?

I guess our attitudes are changing and as long it is done in good taste, parents explain it to their children then it will be accepted by the majority.
